Aberdour

Aberdour is situated on the east coast of Scotland, within the Kingdom of Fife. Aberdour (meaning 'river mouth of the dour') is a picturesque village and hosts two beautiful beaches, one of which has won the European Union  'Blue Flag Award'. The village has many places to eat out including pubs and restaurants and offers exclusive shops and gift stores. There are also two convenience stores with off-licences for wines and spirits. Also, for the little ones, a fabulous play park which was opened in 2008 by our 'now' Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

Aberdour's scenery is breathtaking with beautiful architecture and views across the Firth of Forth. The Castle is a must for tourists, with well structured gardens and the famous Dovecot overlooked by the quaint St Fillans Church. Aberdour Train Station and it's immaculate pots and baskets keenly tended to by 'Trevor the Station Master', definitely worthy of 'Best Station Award'.

Hop on a
train and enjoy a 25 minute journey to Edinburgh for a days shopping or take a 50 minute drive up the east coast to St Andrews. The choice is yours!
